An eye-catching watercolour presentation of one of nature’s most beautiful and graceful waterbirds.

A delight for the ornithophiles, the great white egret enjoying life on the wetlands. Mr Elegance sums up the majestic grace of this beautiful bird quietly going about his business. It is so important that we look after our waterways and ensure ongoing healthy habitats for our water birds. This artwork was another opportunity to explore the strengths of negative painting especially in the background bushland depicting coastal foreshore.
Mr Elegance is painted on 425 gsm Saunders Waterford 100% cotton, traditional white.
The artwork is then mounted on a timber panel and presented under cold wax so that no glass or framing is used in its presentation. No reflection and easier for postage and transporting. A beautiful soft patina makes the colours glow. Additionally, Mr Elegance is framed in a float frame of beautiful Tasmanian Oak. Framed size is 53cm(H) x 73.5cm(W) x 3.5 cm(D).
